Anyox BC

This is Anyox Dam. A old abandoned townsite sits at the waterfront of the mining and power plant. We were lucky enough to borrow a truck from a caretaker and drive a mile or so up to the condemned dam. It was pretty cool to see such a structure standing abandoned. A picturesque view in this old valley. Old steam donkeys, old power plants, old buildings. Amazing to see past history tucked away in Northern BC on the way up Portland Canal, nearing the border of Alaska. Like I say, I was lucky to see such a historical site. Glad I brought my camera.
